Soul, a girl from the suburbs, born and raised in Weston, Florida, has been battling with schizophrenia since she was 6 years old is tired of living the same life over and over again due to her parents holding her captive in fear of showing her the dangerous outside world. As days go by, her illness only gets worse but she doesn't know any better. Luckily for her, her parents go out for the night leaving her alone for the first time in ages, and the voices in her head have a plan.
Below, I have included a character board that will help create an idea of who this character is and will portray in my film.
Soul: Soul is a girl who suffers from schizophrenia. She suffers from insomnia as her symptoms don't allow her to sleep well and she often wakes up in the middle of the night which causes her to have eye bags under her eyes, she looks very tired. Her room is very messy as she has no motivation to get up and clean it and she finds everything very easily. She maintains very poor hygiene as she often does not have much energy to shower, brush her hair, or even brush her teeth. Her best friend is her cat Lennot whom her parents got for her 15th birthday so she wouldn't feel so lonely. She spends most of her days laying down, watching tv, and eating snacks. Every morning she takes her medication but when she fails to do so, her symptoms are triggered into her having an episode and acting out really bad. The only thing that can calm her down is her cat.
